There may be no better way to understand Maximin Grünhaus than to taste its vineyards side by side. This special six-bottle collection brings together wines from the estate’s three historic Monopole vineyards – Abtsberg, Herrenberg, and Bruderberg – each shaped by its own exposition, elevation, and expression of the Ruwer’s distinctive blue and red slate soils.
Presented together in a special collection case, the wines offer a rare opportunity to explore the nuances of one estate through its greatest sites. Dr. Loosen has spent decades demonstrating that great Mosel Riesling belongs in the same conversation as the world’s great age-worthy wines. The 2020 Dr. Loosen Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling GG offers the chance to experience that philosophy with several years of bottle development already behind it.
From the steep slopes of the Kinheimer Rosenberg vineyard, this dry Riesling combines the concentration expected of a GG with the tension, minerality, and natural freshness that give Mosel Riesling its remarkable longevity. With time, those elements begin to knit together, allowing the wine to show greater depth and complexity while retaining its essential energy.
For collectors and restaurant lists alike, it offers something the newest release simply cannot: time already invested in the bottle.

Cabernet Sauvignon has an important history in the Clare Valley of Australia, and The Benbournie represents Jim Barry‘s most serious expression of the variety.
The wine comes from the family’s Benbournie vineyard, a site selected by Jim Barry himself and planted to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1964. Produced only from this single vineyard, The Benbournie combines Clare Valley intensity with the structure and balance needed for long-term development.
The 2021 is a natural fit for the season ahead: substantial enough for the holiday table, distinguished enough for giving, and built with the potential to reward further time in the cellar.
