A delightfully lively and charming Riesling from Germany’s Rhine valley, made in the delicate, lower-alcohol Kabinett style.

The estate-grown Riesling Kabinett is made to showcase the traditional, lighter style of Riesling. It is sourced from cooler, higher-elevation parcels adjacent to the estate’s classified single-vineyard sites. But it also includes fruit from pre-selections in the top sites, which gives the wine an extra dimension of fruit and mineral intensity. The Riesling Kabinett is light and lovely, with lush exotic fruit aromas and a poised balance of bright acidity and lacy natural sweetness.

The estate-grown Rheingau Spätlese is made with the same exacting standards and meticulous attention to detail as the single-vineyard wines, and showcases Spätlese’s riper, richer style from late-picked fruit. It is sourced from parcels that neighbor the estate’s classified single-vineyard sites, but also includes pre-selection fruit from the top sites, which gives the wine an extra dimension of fruit and mineral intensity. The wine is a timeless Rheingau Spätlese, with lush fruit notes and high-spirited acidity gracefully balancing its natural sweetness.

The outstanding quality of the Kiedrich Gräfenberg (“Hill of the Counts”) vineyard was first documented in the late 12th century. It is a steep, southwest-facing slope in a sheltered side valley of the Rheingau, with deep to medium-deep stony soil. Spätlese (“late-picked”) is produced from very ripe grapes, without botrytis, for a wine with epic minerality, nuanced fruit aromas, and an artful balance between crisp acidity and a rich natural sweetness.

The outstanding quality of the Kiedrich Gräfenberg (“Hill of the Counts”) vineyard was first documented in the late 12th century. It is a steep, southwest-facing slope in a sheltered side valley of the Rheingau, with deep to medium-deep stony soil made up of phyllite interspersed with water-retaining layers of loess and loam. Auslese (“out of the harvest”) is a special selection of overripe fruit, usually including clusters that have been partially affected by botrytis. This produces a concentrated sweet wine with beautiful balance.

Beerenauslese is a special-selection dessert wine produced from botrytis-affected grapes that have been painstakingly hand-selected during the harvest. As the harvest progresses, our team makes multiple passes through the vineyard to pick out only the partially shrivelled berries (“Beeren”) for this rich, yet elegant sweet wine.
