As a small U.S. wine import company, we are already grappling with the needlessly destructive and disruptive effects of the 25% tariff on European wines that was unleashed by the Trump administration on October 18. Now comes the threat of Trump Tariff 2.0, under which wines from all EU countries are at risk of tariffs up to 100%.

Sparkling wine has a long tradition in Germany, a country that currently drinks more bubbly than any other. In this month of celebrations, we're featuring six sparklers from Germany and one from the Burgundy region of France at price points to brighten every budget.
